Photo Contest

Kelly likes to take pictures and, in fact, she's pretty good at what she does. After taking the picture shown at the right, she sent it off to a photo competition in Window Rock and her entry won second prize!

When Allen and Kelly went to Window Rock for the awards ceremony (and to do some negotiating with officials there on the community well project) Kelly was asked to say something about her picture. When she talked about was the ministry they have which led her to the area where the picture was taken.

After hearing Kelly's comments Miss Navajo Nation (see below) took her aside and commended Allen and Kelly for the work they're doing in the Copper Mine area and said she would like to help. This is an unbelievable blessing, because on the reservation Miss Navajo Nation is very influential and is hard to get to. But she spontaneously and very generously offered to do what she could to promote the project!

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. And thank you Lord for leading Kelly to take that winning photo.
